About the Attorney

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Ms. Elkins relocated to Orlando in 1999. She is a graduate of Barry University School of Law where she was a member of the school's Law Review and Moot Court team.

She is licensed to practice in front of the Supreme Court of the United States, the State of Florida, and the District of Columbia. Ms. Elkins has been practicing law in central Florida for over 24 years.  She is also a certified Florida Family Law Mediator.

Ms. Elkins is a member of the Supreme Court of the United States, the Florida Bar, the Orange County Bar Association, and the District of Columbia Bar Association. Prior to forming the Elkins Law Firm, she was a law clerk for Circuit Court Judge Walter Komanski in Orange County, and worked as a child advocate in Barry University's Children and Families Legal Clinic.

Ms. Elkins understands that each client's situation is unique and important, and she gives each client individual attention. She recognizes that cases are not just a legal problem — attached to each case is a client in need of assistance dealing with the most important challenges in their life.
